#Chungies2014 Wedding

Just over 2 months ago, I had the privilege of witnessing two of my good friends get married! Susan and Alex are a beautiful couple with beautiful and generous hearts. It was such a joy to be in attendance, and to be a part of their special day!

I was invited to make the Chungie wedding cake! Susan and Alex chose to go with a white cake with a pumpkin mousse. The sponge was soaked with an amaretto syrup, to compliment the rich pumpkin. The cake was covered in fondant, and then decorated with flowers and ribbons to match the decorations in the reception hall.

This post isn't much of a recipe post, but more of an experience post. Though the day was hectic, I was so excited to see the bride and groom enjoy the cake! It was a day to celebrate their relationship, their love, and their future!
